After a bit of technical frustration, Cam and I have managed to get this show out as scheduled, yay!

This is it, our Planescape special featuring Monte Cook! We put this one together as a retro-review and interview together, and as such, it's long, about an hour and a half. But I'm not apologizing for the length because it's chock-full of good stuff! At the end though, I did decide to cut the listener feedback segment, not because we don't want to hear what you have to say (We do! We do!) but because it would have pushed the show up near the 2-hour range. We'll bring it back next month for sure though! We do love and appreciate your feedback!

A few of my favorite Planescape links:

The Mimir

Planewalker.com

And some links to games mentioned in the show:

Dark Heresy

Godlike

All Flesh Must Be Eaten

Unknown Armies

on a side note, from what movie was the little intro just before the reveiw?
    Is it any good?

That was a quote from Flash Gordon (1980), with Max von Sydow as Ming the Merciless (that was his line). Flash Gordon is pure awesomeness! Cheesy lines, great over-acting, crazy costumes and sets, gonzo plot, and super-mega-hot Italian actresses. What more can you ask for? A true classic.

It's not the same as having a nice boxed set, but you can buy PDF versions of many (maybe all) Planescape supplements on rpgnow.com. I just picked up the main set and am looking forward to reading through it.

Great show! Keep up the good work--and keep doing the retro reviews. I loved it.

By the way guys'. I got an idea for the pimp my campaign.
What I was thinking was to do a Mage(the awakening) based of sailor moon.
So my question is, have you ever tried anything like that and do you have any advice at running games of tv shows?

    Hey Cam (and Mike),

As the old DM of Cam's Planescape campaign (Katja will finish her tasks one day Cam), I loved the trip down memory lane of how excellent Planescape was. Great to hear Monte tal too.

The ep made me feel guilty of two things 1) what has it taken me so long to listen to these podcasts and b) Why do I own Dead Gods and have never played it! Maybe next trip to Oz Cam?

    Yo APS!

Cheers for tuning in, buddy! And cheers for running those kick-ass Planescape games. Hands down some of my favourite D&D moments, ever.

See you on the Astral Plane! (Or, you know, back in Brisvegas.)
    Cam.

One of my friends ran a Planescape campaign recently using SotC/Fate 3.0. I never played in the setting itself, but I collected the trading card game for a while. I entirely agree about the cohesive art!

This is a relatively new operation, and patients aion power leveling have been pleased with the results. It takes a little tissue from the areas you'd like wow gold to subtract as you get older, and puts it onto the areas you'd like to enhance.
